Violence in Videogames - Again and again

Today I grabbed a Reader's Digest that talked about violence in videogames. With all that crap of psychologists talking about how games can make kids go violent and how people that play videogames are no longer touched by certain subjects and they get used to killing and blah blah. I really don't know why people keep talking about this. Maybe it's just to fill pages. It seems violence around the world started when GTA was launched. Of course it is crap. crap crap crap.
It makes me mad, is like blaming music. There are tangible, real causes for violence that are far more obvious. I'm not saying video games can't spark violence on people, it sure does but on a very small percentage. And the violence within those subjects has its roots in other aspects, like abuse, low self esteem, depression, racism, bad parents or lack of freedom.
